Homesick

Traveling has taught me that home is more than just a physical location. It's a feeling you carry with you no matter where you go. On my recent trip to Toronto, I experienced this firsthand. As I explored this vibrant city, I felt more connected and authentic than ever before.

Toronto was the perfect destination for a spontaneous, unplanned trip. With a limited time, I felt a sense of urgency to make the most of every moment. This sense of freedom allowed me to be genuinely myself and uniquely connect with the city.

The people I met on this trip were a huge part of what made it special. From discovering new restaurants and cuisines to late-night adventures and deep conversations, these were the moments I'll never forget. I was incredibly excited to connect with others who shared my passion for photography and food. Their local knowledge gave me a new perspective on the city and helped me see it in a new light.

But what struck me about this trip was how it made me feel. At the end of the week, I felt a little homesick, but not in the usual way. This city had started to feel like home to me, and I was sad to leave it behind. That's when I realized that home is not a place but a feeling. And if a family can be made up of people who aren't related to you, then the home should be more than just a physical location.

Traveling has opened my eyes to the true meaning of home, and I can't wait to see where my next adventure takes me. Join me as I explore the world, one city at a time, and discover what it means to feel truly at home.
