Located next to Emily Carr University of Art & Design, this standout spot features a bright red exterior and gorgeous interior designed by local architectural firm Perkins + Will. Their pastries, including seasonal cruffins and croissants, are mouth-watering, and their sandwiches and toasts are a great savoury option.
If you're looking for a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of downtown, head to Queen Elizabeth Park, or "QE Park" as the locals call it. This urban landmark is home to breathtakingly beautiful manicured gardens, a serene Bloedel Conservatory, and sports courts. In spring, the park transforms into a sea of pink and white as the cherry trees burst into full bloom, making it the perfect place to experience the season's beauty.
After strolling through Queen Elizabeth Park, you'll work up an appetite. Luckily, just a short drive away, HK BBQ Master in downtown Richmond awaits with its mouth-watering traditional Hong Kong-style BBQ. The unassuming little spot is cash-only, but try their famous BBQ pork, which is perfectly charred and coated in a sticky, sweet glaze that will leave you wanting more. Other must-try items include the juicy roasted duck and tender soy sauce chicken. Generous portions make this spot an excellent option for sharing with friends or family, and the authentic food will transport you straight to the streets of Hong Kong.

You'll find a dock on the southeastern corner between Creekside Park and East Park, with a perspective right in front of Science World and BC Place in the background. This spot provides a stunning view of the city's skyline, making it the perfect way to end your day in Vancouver with an unforgettable memory.
